TOTA PULCHRA
Sacred polyphony from the Renaissance
and the 20th century

On the Occasion of HOMO FABER 2026
Presented by NOEMA

The vocal polyphony of the Renaissance and 20th century, together with Gregorian chant — an inexhaustible source of melody and inspiration for both — forms the repertoire brought to Venice by Ensemble Vocale Harmonia Cordis, conducted by Jacopo Facchini, on September 19th at the Church of San Zulian.

Presented by Associazione Noema on the occasion of Homo Faber 2026: An Island of Light, the concert celebrates some of the exhibition’s principles: memory, beauty, and the expertise and mastery at the heart of humanity’s creative history.

The voices of Harmonia Cordis also resonate within Homo Faber, through a selection of vocal recordings woven into the exhibition spaces at the San Giorgio Maggiore Monastery, until September 30th, 2026.
